When you’re enjoying the sea and the sand, you might not give even a second thought to the marine life that’s beneath the waves, just a stone’s throw from your toes as you paddle in the surf. For some people though, it’s the discovery of this unique marine life which has really driven them on. http://www.great-yarmouth.co.uk
All along the Greater Yarmouth coastline, there are all sorts of marine species which live in the sea and on the beach.
Inspired by watching Jaws when he was just 3 years old, and having lived by the sea all his life, where he was fascinated by beachcombing, for Dan there was never any doubt in his mind what he wanted to be when he grew up… a marine biologist.
Enthralled by the very popular local Sea Life Centre where he did work experience from a young age, Dan qualified as a marine biologist and now counts himself lucky to be able to swim with sharks and turtles as part of his day job.
Getting up close and personal with the marine animals at the centre, watching them grow, change, become parents and raise their young is just one of the rewards Dan reaps as part of his Jaws-inspired job in Great Yarmouth.
