There’s so much more to Greater Yarmouth than just Norfolk’s premier seaside resort with Broads and beautiful countryside to explore. http://www.great-yarmouth.co.uk
Daniel and Claire set out in their camper van with Scottie to explore the borough of Great Yarmouth, chugging through countryside, going for a walk at Burgh Castle and admiring the view over Berney Arms windmill, taking a boat out for a cruise on the River Thurne, and checking out the huge beach at Gorleston-on-Sea.
Covering only short distances along beautiful tree-lined country lanes with miles of rolling farmland on either side, they potter through seaside villages with friendly pubs and thatched roof holiday cottages, eating cake from a seaside café, lounging in the dunes at Winterton, having an ice cream on Great Yarmouth seafront, walking Scottie on the wide dunes on North Beach, exploring Caister and Hemsby.
Featured in this short film: the best preserved Roman monument in East Anglia – Burgh Castle, stunning Greater Yarmouth Norfolk countryside, traditional wooden Broads cruisers from Martham Boats, boating along the River Thurne, Gorleston-on-Sea, Winterton-on-Sea, Scratby and California, North Beach Great Yarmouth, Hemsby and Caister.
