Bath priory

The Bath Priory Hotel, Restaurant and Spa is a wonderful luxury hotel situated in the Georgian city of Bath. A world famous spa city, Bath is the place to head to for a little rest and relaxation. Although you can visit ancient Roman baths, spa’s are not a thing of the past in Bath and there are many opportunities to take a dip into a natural hot spa, either ancient or modern.

Bath Priory is one of the best places to stay in Bath, if pampering and lots of TLC is what you are after. Owners, Andrew and Christina Brownsword discovered Bath Priory when they were seeking refuge from the hustle and bustle of modern city life. The couple have transformed the once run down building into a beautiful oasis of calm and relaxation. Care has been taken in the design of each of the bedrooms, providing all the luxuries you will need for an enjoyable stay and adding individual touches, that you do not see in many hotels. There are 33 rooms in total, ranging from luxury single rooms to deluxe family rooms and ‘Romeo and Juliet’ balcony rooms, so there really is a room to suit everyone. The hotel restaurant is headed up by award winning chef Sam Moody, who is passionate about serving up local and seasonal dishes. Serving modern British cuisine, with a heavy French influence, the Bath Priory Restaurant is fine dining at its best.

Your stay in Bath priory would not be complete without using the excellent on site spa facilities. Pamper packages and spa treatments are available throughout the year at The Garden Spa or you can simply enjoy the indoor and outdoor heated pools. If you end up eating too much at the fantastic hotel restaurant, there is a fitness suite at the spa to burn off a few calories. Beauty treatments are also available, if you are looking for the ultimate pamper session before an evening out in Bath. The hotel is just as beautiful on the outside as it is on the inside, with 4 acres of gardens to wander around and delight at. Head gardener Jane Moore prides herself on the delightful wildflower meadow, fragrant kitchen garden and the colourful walled garden, that the property boasts. With four star service everywhere you turn, you will want for nothing during your stay at this first class hotel, the only problem is you will not want to leave.
